Cadence is an independent consulting practice focused on trial enrollment for academic cancer centers.
We started Cadence because the hardest part of a cancer trial is rarely the science. It is getting the right patients enrolled, on time, and making sure the study reflects the people the treatment is meant to help. That is the work we do, and the only work we do.
The practice pairs deep clinical research experience with the data and technology to make recruitment measurable. Engagements are led by the principals and delivered with a vetted network of coordinators and trial managers.
Sierra Williams Thomson
Fifteen years in clinical research, nine of them in oncology and genitourinary trials, including six years leading trial portfolios and the coordinator teams behind them. Has managed 20+ Phase I–IV NIH-funded and industry-sponsored studies, and served as study manager on investigator-initiated Phase 2 trials in locally advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma, carrying both from start-up through full enrollment. Named author on peer-reviewed work in Cancer, the Journal of Urology, and Theranostics, and on abstracts presented at ASCO and ASCO GU. Leads enrollment diagnosis, protocol feasibility, and recruitment redesign on every engagement.
Victor Thomson
Designs and owns the data systems and technology behind the recruitment work, including the accrual dashboards, tracking, and secure workflows that make the strategy measurable and repeatable.
